Day 8 Lymington to Swanage

Woke up and packed up my camp before heading in to Lymington lifeboat station which I skipped past the day before. I then went and visited the Sammy Miller museum as they had very kindly asked me to come by and visit. It was absolutely fantastic to have a look around at all the bikes and have a chat with Sammy himself! Far too much to see in one trip so hopefully I will be back at some point. By this point the sun was shining nicely and I had a very pleasant trip to Poole via Mudeford. At Poole I popped in to the RNLI headquarters and had some photos taken of me for them to prepare a press release. It was very exciting to talk to all the people there and start getting publicity ready. I was also able to get a quick tour of Poole lifeboat station which was fun. It then motored on to Swanage via the ferry before getting to my rest stop for the night.
